A personal painting just for you...I work from your photographs and add some imagination. I will work with you to capture the spirit and personality of your subject creating a painting that will be cherished forever.
How long will it take to get a hand painted portrait? Turnaround time is 4-5 weeks. After an order is placed, I will update you once a week on the status of the order. I do not offer expedited service. If I offered a faster service, I would have to sacrifice quality, and that is not something I am willing to do.
What types of files do you accept? I can accept photographs in a number of popular formats (.jpeg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .tiff). Don't worry about the file size, the larger the better. You can email photos to me or send them on messenger. Please send as many as possible. Sometimes lighting can change the subject so I like to get a good idea of overall characteristics. If you send me a poor quality photo, it will be difficult for me to produce a high quality portrait for you.
I can't decide which photograph will make a better portrait. Can you help? Of course! Simply send me the photographs that you are considering. I will look over your submissions, and can make a recommendation on which photo would make a better portrait, and why.
Can two (or more) photographs be combined to make one portrait? Yes, in many cases I can combine multiple photos to create one beautiful portrait. Please email me the photos so I can confirm this. In addition, I can create a different background to suit the subject.
Do you offer framing? No, at this time I do not offer framing options.
How will my order be shipped? I ship all of my paintings through USPS. I cannot ship to a Post Office Box, so please make sure that you provide me with a real, physical address for delivery. All of my paintings are fully insured. If your painting arrives and the box is visibly damaged in any way, please notify the delivery person immediately. I will use the most economical shipping available, unless you have an urgent deadline, in which case expedited shipping will be at cost. I also ship internationally. If you are local to Bradenton, you are also welcome to collect your artwork by appointment.
Do I get to see my artwork before I receive it? Yes - I will provide photographs of the finished painting through e-mail so that you can see what it looks like before I ship. If you are not completely satisfied with the painting, I will make a revision at no charge to you. I will not send your painting to you until you have approved it and are completely satisfied with the end result.
Do you accept international orders? Yes, I do. If you are not located in the United States, please contact me so i can give you an accurate shipping quote for your order.
Can you paint my cat as Henry VIII? My dog as Mona Lisa? My husband as Clint Eastwood? Yes I can. I would love to!!! Please see the Whimsical and Wonderful page!

I use professional quality gallery wrapped canvas and can continue the painting around the edges so there is no need to frame. Alternatively I can leave the sides unpainted or paint in single color. I will add hanging hardware for you so the art is ready to hang. If an abstract piece I will provide hanging hardware for you to affix so you can choose the preferred orientation.
Subjects are either animals or people. I am happy to also discuss commissions for resin art, resin tables, specific scenes or anything else you want to capture on canvas!
I can add gold leaf, crackle effect or other textures at a surcharge and can discuss options with you. I can also work in pastel or pencil - prices determined by size and complexity.
I also offer paintings on round wooden plaques and round or oval canvases. Please ask for pricing.
If you would like a portrait smaller or larger than standard sizes - please contact me to discuss and for a quotation.
Pricing does not include shipping. Collection by appointment.
