36'x24' Beautiful horse profile painted with professional acrylics on gallery wrapped canvas. Abstract Payne's Grey background. Sides of the painting (1.5') are painted black. A stunning addition to any room and perfect for equine art enthusiasts. (Reference photo used with kind permission from Karen Brommelsick.)
This stunning horse painting was inspired by the wonderful equine photography of Karen Brommelsick. The light on the mane was mesmerizing to me and I wanted to paint an interpretation as soon as I saw it. The painting is finished with several layers of satin varnish which increases color brilliance and protects the paint from dust.
This striking monochromatic painting is painted with hues of greys, browns, creams and whites. A simple kiss captured in silhouette. Perfect for horse lovers.
A brooding seascape in resin and finished with a matte varnish to remove shine. This painting was created over crackle paste which has been levelled with resin pigments. it lends an unusual and subtle cracked effect to the shoreline. The sunset is created with layers of ink and gold leafing which look amazing in the light.
This whimsical painting was part of my “Underwater” exhibit at Island Gallery West. The Giantess was painted in acrylics and with touches of gold leaf and she catches the light beautifully. The shark is her best friend and is forever trying to jump into her right nostril to keep warm. This is always a problem for a Giantess.
This original painting was part of my “Underwater “ exhibit at island Gallery West on Anna Maria Island. I wanted to capture the feeling of joy being underwater and weightless. This original painting is finished with satin varnish and ready to hang.
This painting is based on a photograph taken with an underwater go pro. The reflections and fragments of light underwater change constantly and are so beautiful and mysterious. An unusual painting to display in a bathroom, pool room or anywhere you might want to dive into memories of swimming in a beautiful place.
Grant Wood’s iconic painting, American Gothic, has long fascinated me. I love the simplicity of the style. I made my own version with a fabulous cat/dog combo. The cat is wearing a fish patterned smock from her 1949 collection and a wonderful paw brooch to add pizazz...”American Pawthic is definitely unique and purrrrrfect for animal lovers. This painting was displayed at the fur and feathers show at Art Center Manatee in 2019. I’d also be honored to paint your very own version of American a Pawthic. Send me a message to chat about ideas!
