Resin and paint, ink and gold leaf paintings
I use Art Resin and Pro Marine professional grade epoxy resin in my artwork. This gives a durable, crystal clear dimension to artwork and I alternate color rich layers of paint and ink with layers of resin - resulting in incredible depth and beauty with each piece. My art is original, hand-painted and takes several weeks to complete. Some of the pieces have up to 5 layers of resin between each layer of painting. Resin art gives a beautiful depth and shine that is impossible to capture in a photograph. I am happy to take commissions for resin art and can discuss colours, design and composition with you to make an original one off piece. Resin Tables
I use solid wood table tops and prime and seal before use. Then I add a resin pour as a first layer to create the background. Once this is cured, I paint on the resin using acrylic paints. Then I add another resin layer to create depth, allow this to cure and then paint more detail. A final resin layer protects the artwork and the surface is heat tolerant and easy to clean. However, like all artwork, resin is not for outdoor use or direct sunlight. I love fun designs and can work with any ideas you might have! Available in various sizes from 17” diameter upwards.
